Nazis, Dinosaurs and More in IDW's Half Past Danger This May

This May, writer/artist Stephen Mooney brings some Nazis versus dinosaurs action to IDW Publishing in Half Past Danger, a pulp-inspired sci-fi tale that's basically, on aggregate, exactly the kind of thing that comics was invented for. "I couldn't be more thrilled about partnering up with IDW on Half Past Danger," said Mooney. "I've long wanted to produce a book of my own firmly set in the pulp world of action-adventure Saturday afternoon serials, and this is it. Nazis vs Dinosaurs, baby. History meets Prehistory in this two-fisted race against time. And there ain't no time like Half Past Danger!" The series will be colored by Jordie Bellaire and feature variant covers by Tommy Lee Edwards, Declan Shalvey, Lee Bermejo, and other artists yet to be announced. HALF PAST DANGER #1 (FC, 32 pages, $3.99). In stores 5/22/13. Diamond Code: MAR130351
