Even though we are only one month away from the premiere of the sixth season of FX's American Horror Story, we still don't know much about the upcoming season. The official cast, synopsis, and even its subtitle are being withheld on purpose, keeping the plot shrouded in mystery.
Plenty of teasers for the upcoming season have been released over the past few weeks, but we can't trust that any of them offer any clues regarding the plot. That's because just last week, at the Television Critics Association press tour, FX CEO John Landgraf revealed that many of the teasers are in fact "misdirects." They're toying with us, and that's kind of awesome.
Well, even though this is probably a misdirect as well, the latest Season 6 teaser (video above) features a wind chime with human teeth, a corn husk doll, and iron hooks shaped like this season's "?"/"6" logo. Then a nurse appears and cuts the chime in half with garden shears. We then get a close-up shot of teeth littering the ground and the tip one of her worn out shoes.
