Avengers Stark Shocks Banner

It seems like every time Marvel Studios releases a foreign version of an Avengers movie trailer that they include just enough new footage to get the entire Internet buzzing about it. The official Avengers Facebook page for Germany just posted the German version of the new Avengers trailer that was recently released in the U.S. Most of the trailer is the exact same as the American version, but there are two additional scenes. The two additional scenes highlight the element of humor that Robert Downey, Jr. will bring to the film. The first new scene involves an argument between Tony Stark and Captain America, where Stark has a witty comeback. The second scene shows Tony Stark unexpectedly shocking Bruce Banner in a joking attempt to bring out the Hulk. The dialogue is in German, but ComicBookMovie.com was able to get a translation. In the first new scene, Stark says, "And following orders is obviously not my style." Captain America replies, "And everyone knows that style is all you care about." To which, Stark retorts, "From all the people around here, who wears the most figure-hugging outfit?" In the second new scene, Stark says, "I promise a stress-free environment. No surprises." Then after he shocks Banner, Captain exclaims, "Hey!" Stark says, "You really got it under control, don't you. What's your secret? Relaxing Jazz, Bongo Drums?" Captain America complains, "Is everything like a joke to you?" To which, Stark quips, "If it's funny!"

It's interesting that Marvel Studios left those scenes out of the American version. Maybe, they were afraid that American comic book fans would complain they weren't taking the movie seriously if they included too much humor in the trailer. But the scenes are well done and funny, so it would likely help sell the movie to general public.
