New Gotham Promo Features Ben McKenzie As Detective James Gordon

Fox has just released a brand new promo video for Gotham, which spotlights Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon. Two weeks into his new job as Gotham City detective, Gordon stumbles upon the city's highest-profile case ever: the murder of local billionaires Thomas and Martha Wayne.

"This is one of the iconic figures in comic book law enforcement. It's daunting to play him to be honest with you," said McKenzie. "It's a little bit scary, and yet it's thrilling."

Based upon characters published by DC Entertainment and produced by Warner Bros. Television, Gotham is an origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told.

Gotham will premiere on FOX on Monday, September 22, 2014.
