New Gotham Rise Of The Villains Trailer Shows A Bloody Jerome

Is Gotham's Jerome the future Joker? Man oh man, Fox sure wants you to think so. In the latest promo for the second season, the character is once again seen laughing, but this time he's also covered in blood. It's... creepy.

As you'll see having watched the video, Jerome's not the only bloody figure in the clip, and certainly not the only villain. The tagline for the season is, of course, "Rise of the Villains." With a focus on the darker denizens of the city, a new pair is in town, the Galavan siblings, whose actors James Frain and Jessica Lucas revealed to us have a long history with Gotham City. So is Jerome the Joker or another red herring? We won't found out until Gotham comes back to Fox on September 21, 2015 at 8/7 central.
