Ninja Turtles Begins Shooting Today

According to the trusted site On Location Vacations, Michael Bay and Jonathan Liebesman's Ninja Turtles will begin principal photography today at Jones Beach in New York. Sets being constructed at Jones Beach had been, for a month, erroneously reported as being intended for Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but the star-tourism site has now confirmed that it's for a film with a working title of "4Sq" or "Foursquare," which is in fact what they're calling the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot. Liebesman will direct the live action/CGI hybrid film for stars Megan Fox as reporter April O'Neil, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo and Will Arnett in as as-yet-undisclosed role. The film is also seeking "beautiful female models" for background actors/extras.
