Noah Super Bowl Trailer

The list of movies advertising during Super Bowl XLVIII is growing. Paramount Pictures just announced recently that they bought a Super Bowl spot to promote Darren Aronofsky's Noah, which stars Man of Steel's Russell Crowe. The Noah trailer will air between the singing of the national anthem and kick-off. The Noah trailer is in addition to the trailer for Michael Bay's Transformers: Age of Extinction, which was previously announced. In a somewhat surprising move, Paramount has released the Noah trailer online early. Noah is a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah's Ark. In a world ravaged by human sin, Noah is given a divine mission: to build an Ark to save creation from the coming flood. There will be a graphic novel tie-in released for Noah. The screenplay was written by Darren Aronofsky and Ari Handel and revised by Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter John Logan. Scott Franklin and Aronofsky of Protozoa Pictures, along with Mary Parent of Disruption Entertainment, will produce the film. The film will be executive produced by Ari Handel, Arnon Milchan of New Regency and Chris Brigham. Noah is scheduled to be released in movie theater on March 28, 2014.
