Warner Brothers has acquired the movie rights to Brendan Hay and Justin Wagner's Rascal Raccoon, published originally by Oni Press, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film expected to be written by Big Momma's House: Like Father, Like Son scribe Matt Fogel and directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson, best known for A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas. Expected to be a live action/CGI combination film like Alvin & the Chipmunks, Rascal Raccoon is the story of a cartoon character who, having finally vanquished his longtime nemesis, seeks out the animator who created him in an attempt at finding a new challenge.
