It was a bad morning for Macon, Georgia comic book shop Comics Plus.

The shop was burglarized last night, with the four reported thieves using a crowbar to break into the front door and subsequently taking out the alarm system. They targeted some of the most expensive comics, including the first eight issues of Justice League of America and the first twenty issues of X-Men, as well as over $2000 out of the register.

The damage was around a quarter of a million dollars, and while the store was trashed, at least no one was in the store at the time of the robbery, so no one was hurt. The copies were CGC slabbed, so make sure to be on the lookout for someone trying to pawn off a really valuable collection for nickels and dimes.
