Pacific Rim: Cherno Alpha Poster Revealed

A new Pacific Rim one-sheet has been released via the movie's Facebook page, revealing the Russian Jaeger named Cherno Alpha. The least humanoid-looking of all the Jaegers, Cherno Alpha has been compared to Soundwave from the original Transformers series by fans because of the way its lighted chest cavity juts out and the very inhuman look if its "head." Whether that fire blowing out of its right side is an offensive weapon or just heat exhaust is unclear...but it probably doesn't matter since at the end of the day you're fighting a giant monster and will use just about anything as an offensive weapon. Of course, fans who read the blueprints might have a better idea...
