Preacher Episode 8 Sneak Preview & Clip: El Valero

AMC has released a clip and a sneak preview for next Sunday's "El Valero" episode of Preacher. Check both of them out in the videos above.

The episode's synopsis: "In a fierce gun battle, Jesse faces off against Quincannon and the Meat Men to protect his church. Meanwhile, Tulip tries to save a friend."

Based on the popular cult comic book franchise of the same name, "Preacher" is a supernatural, twisted and darkly comedic drama that follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power. Jesse, his badass ex -girlfriend Tulip and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy come together and when they do, they are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of charact ers from heaven, hell and everywhere in between.

The series stars Dominic Cooper ("Captain America: The First Avenger," "Need for Speed") as Jesse Custer, Ruth Negga ("World War Z," "The Samaritan") as Tulip, Joseph Gilgun ("This is England," "Lockout") as Cassidy, Lucy Griffiths ("Winter's Tale," "Robin Hood") as Emily, Earl W. Brown ("The re's Something About Mary," "Scream") as Sheriff Root, Ian Colletti ("Ph oe be in Wonde rland," "Baby Momma") as Eugene and Derek Wilson ( "Rectify ") as Donnie Schenck.
