Disney appears to be on a mission to make as many live-action fairy tales as they can. Fortunately for them, they've had a lot of success with them (Cinderella, Maleficent). Now you can add "Prince Charming" to their list.
Variety reports that Disney has acquired the script for a live-action Prince Charming film. It will be a comedy and actually "the point of view isn’t that of the prince himself but of his brother who never lived up to the family name." What a twist!
The script was written by relative newcomer Matt Fogel. He worked as an assistant to Phil Lord and Chris Miller on Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, and is currently developing Bob: The Musical at Disney
