Psych: The Musical Playbill Poster Unveiled

USA Network may still be more than a month away from what is likely the final season premiere of its hit detective dramedy Psych, but they're making sure everybody knows to tune in on December 15 for a long-awaited, two-hour musical event. Entertainment Weekly has a first look at the poster for the episode, which will be released on DVD two days after it airs. The episode, which was screened for fans at San Diego Comic Con International this summer, sees Shawn and Gus fist-bumping their way into Glee territory, when they "must track down playwright and mad man, played by guest star Anthony Rapp, but in order to do so, they need to get help from a dangerous villain from Shawn's past." Even money is on "Mr. Yang," played by The Breakfast Club's Ally Sheedy. She was Santa Barbara's most notorious serial killer until Shawn brought her to justice, and then served as a kind of Hannibal Lecter-like advisor to the Psych operation when they were pursuing her father and creepy serial-killer mentor, Mr. Yin (who died before being brought to justice). The Psych Wiki claims she'll be in the episode and, even if it didn't, she's the only character who fits the description.
