Psych's Seventh Season Premiere Up in the Ratings

The seventh season premiere of USA Network's fan-favorite police procedural Psych last night drew 2.9 million viewers and was up in all key demographics over its season six debut. The series, which was renewed for an eighth and likely final season before season seven even debuted, beat out all of last year's episodes and drew 20% more viewers than its season six premiere last February. USA also boasted record social media traffic during last night's premiere; the stars and showrunners have always had a strong social media presence, and going into this season it seems that they've been extremely active.
