Quantum & Woody Weekly

, a new webcomic by series writer James Asmus and Eisner Award-winning artist Ty Templeton, launches today at IGN as the first digital-only Valiant property. It's also free, meaning that fans unfamiliar with the characters will have four or five weeks' worth of free webcomics by the new series writer to get familiar with Quantum and Woody before the new comic launches in July. "Valiant has delivered nothing but quality since they launched last summer, so I'm proud and honored to partner with them to debut Quantum and Woody Weekly exclusively on IGN," said IGN Senior Editor Joey Esposito. "We're excited to help Valiant's expansion into web comics, as well as explore IGN Comics as a platform for original comic book content. Plus, you know, goats!" "We have a seriously cool new series percolating with Quantum and Woody, but before it kicks off in July, our friends at IGN were kind (and crazy) enough to let James Asmus and Ty Templeton bring the hilarity of the world's worst superhero team to their readers on a weekly basis," said Quantum and Woody Editor Jody LeHeup. "James and Ty have done their darnedest to deliver some special stuff for old fans of Q&W and new readers alike, so rejoice y'all – Quantum and Woody are back a bit early and in a whole new way."
