R2-D2 Finds Love In Short Film

"Artoo In Love" is a charming fan-made short film, written and directed by Evan Atherton, that tells the tale of Star Wars' "intrepid, droid-hero R2-D2 as he tries to find love in our galaxy."

Our favorite astromech droid is taking a leisurely stroll through a park where he comes upon a beautiful blue mailbox wearing a pink bow. He falls hopelessly in love with it and tries to woo her with a romantic picnic. He even gets jealous when someone tries to put mail into her slot.
