Rambo TV Series In The Works

Before superheroes took over the big screen, there was Rambo. Of course, he was just a troubled Vietnam War veteran, but he fought like and survived danger like a superhero. The first Rambo movie called First Blood was released in 1982. It was based on the novel by David Morell. There were three sequels to the original film. The most recent being released in 2008. Now, Deadline is reporting that a Rambo TV series is in the works, and Sylvester Stallone is in negotiations to play a role both creatively and to also reprise his role as Rambo. The series is reportedly being developed by Entertainment One with Avi Lerner and his Nu Image, but it has not yet been picked up by a network. However, eOne TV CEO John Morayniss is quoted as saying, "Rambo fans cover all demographics and we're confident that we'll quickly find this series a home."
