Jurassic Park III
Let's be honest here, Jurassic Park III wasn't a well-thought out endeavor. The movie brought back the likes of Sam Neill and Laura Dern, but that was about the only postive take-away.
The dinosaurs in the movie were created with some over-the-top CGI effects, and they looked a bit silly.
Aside from that, a large plot device revolved around the bowels of a T-Rex. Seriously, fans got to follow around a horrible ringtone, as a phone passed through each stage of the animal's digestion.
This is one Jurassic Park entry worth skipping.

The Lost World
While The Lost World certainly didn't live up to the expectations set by the first, the film managed to make the most of what it was given.
The story in Lost World was pretty convoluted, but there's a lot to be said for the time the movie was given to be made. For something so rushed, the crew did a decent job patching it together.
On the positive side of things, Jeff Goldblum was fantastic, as always. Carrying the same charm and wit he brought to the original, Goldblum made the movie fun.

Jurassic World
Jurassic World set box office records in 2015, and there was good reason for it. The movie may not have been good as the original, but it created its own legacy.
Chris Pratt was able to step in to the lead role and get fans reconnected with a franchise that had been long gone.
Just like the original film - Jurassic World found a great balance between having fun and creating a monster movie.

Jurassic Park
Nothing stands up to the original, as Jurassic Park is still regarded as one of the greatest blockbusters of all time.
It's hard to argue with the combo of Michael Crichton and Steven Spielberg, and it manages to feel fresh over 20 years later.
Each character was well-written, each actor turned in a great performance, and the film brought the thrills that every viewer was hoping for going in.
It's difficult to think that any Jurassic sequel could ever top the original, but JA Bayona is hoping to make that happen with Jurassic World 2 next year.
