Remembering Charles Schulz On His Birthday

Happy birthday to the late Charles Schulz. The cartoonist passed away in February of the year 2000.

In Schulz 77 years, he became best known for his work as the cartoonist behind Peanuts. He created Charlie Brown and Snoopy! In 1962, chulz won the Humor Comic Strip Award from the National Cartoonist's Society.

Before his Peanuts fame, Schulz grew up with a passion for drawing. He would draw his family's dog, Spike, quite often.

Did you know that in 2007, Schulz was inducted into the United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame?
