This year Sting will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and it is more than fitting than "Nature Boy" Ric Flair to induct his long-time rival.

Flair confirmed the announcement on his podcast this week, as it was long speculated that the 16-time World Heavyweight Champion would be the one who would introduce Sting. Other names speculated were the likes of Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, but Flair is the more obvious choice.

Also on the podcast, Flair confirmed that the Charles "The Godfather" Wright would be inducted by JBL and Ron Simmons.

Sting and Flair's rivalry is the one of the most-heated in wrestling, spanning decades with sting being part of the "new guard" of WCW and Flair representing the older generation. The two actually closed out the the last Monday Night Nitro, with Sting getting the victory over Flair, but both men ending with an embrace.

Sting is without a doubt one of the all time greats and Flair being part of the ceremony makes it all that much more poignant.
