Royal Mail Launching Star Wars Stamps

Finally, mail can be taken to that galaxy far, far away.

The United Kingdom's Royal Mail is issuing 18 Special Stamps next month to celebrate the upcoming release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The set of stamps includes a range of characters, spanning from the original trilogy to the prequels and to the new characters being introduced in The Force Awakens.

The stamps, illustrated by British artist Malcolm Tween, feature the classic Star Wars font in the form of the iconic "1ST" printed on each stamp.

The complete list of characters featured on the stamps is as follows: Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Stormtrooper, Han Solo, Princess Leia, The Emporer, Luke Skywalker, Bubba Fett, and from the new film, Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren.

There is a separate, miniature stamp sheet, which features the X-Wing, Tie Fighters, Millenium Falcon, and other space crafts seen in the Star Wars films.

The stamps go on sale at www.royalmail.com/starwars and 8,000 United Kingdom post offices on October 20.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters December 18, 2015.
