Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury

Samuel L. Jackson - Nick Fury in Captain America: The Winter Soldier - was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night. Fallon and Jackson began talking about Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Fallon explained that Chris Evans (Captain America) tried to explain the film to him on the previous show and, because of how vague he had to be, Fallon had no idea what he was talking about. "We do have issues with that, you know, because they'll kill us," said Jackson. "Well they'll kill us, or they'll just replace us with people that look like us and nobody will know that we're not there anymore." "So, next thing you know Laurence Fishburne is Nick Fury," quipped Fallon, referencing the embarrassing television interview where an entertainment reporter mistook Jackson for Fishburne. The two then riffed about what the film was actually about, joking that there were elements of erectile dysfunction in the story. If fans were wondering if Cap's relationship with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) would progress beyond just being partners, Jackson spilled the beans on that aspect of the movie. "Black Widow does ask him, at one point in the movie, is she's the first woman he's kissed in 45 years," Jackson said. So, apparently, Cap and Widow get a little bit intimate in The Winter Soldier. Fallon and Jackson also mentioned a Quentin Tarantino Easter egg in The Winter Soldier, where Scarlett Johansson "steals Jackson's line," so keep an eye out for that as well. In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and battles a new threat from old history: the Soviet agent known as the Winter Soldier. Captain America: The Winter Soldier comes to theaters April 4.
