Batman writer and Punk Rock Jesus artist Sean Gordon Murphy's upcoming Vertigo series The Wake will debut this week, and ahead of that, USA Today has a preview at their website, along with a brief interview with the pair. "The ocean is so deeply unexplored that it really feels like a place where you could suddenly discover something that would change your world view and change your whole sense of evolution," Snyder told the newspaper. "You can always posit something spooky or something wondrous having happened there." Snyder, who is also launching Superman Unchained with former Justice League artist Jim Lee in June, has made himself a big success in both corporate-owned and creator-owned horror characters, with titles like American Vampire, Swamp Thing and Severed.
