Secret Wars Battle Standees Revealed

As Secret Wars pits the denizens of Battleworld against one another, Marvel's finest must stand…kinda tall to protect their land.

That's because Marvel Comics has announced Secret Wars Battle Standees, the publisher's latest promo item to tie into their massive summer event. Coming with this June's Secret War #4, Marvel will release a Secret Wars Battle Standee one-sheet with cutouts of Mr. Fantastic, Thor, Black Panther, Cyclops, Peter Parker Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Captain Marvel, and Miles Morales Spider-Man—all drawn by artist John Tyler Christopher. The standees come as nice homage to the original Secret Wars' tie-in action figures, which Marvel is also honoring via special Secret Wars action figure variants. 

But what good is a Secret Wars standee without a (battle)world to inhabit? To give your standees something to battle on other than your desk, Marvel will release five Secret Wars Landscape Wraparound Variants in July. Attached to Age of Ultron Vs. Marvel Zombies #2, Armor Wars #3 (pictured below, by Alex Maleev), Inhumans: Attilan Rising #3, Planet Hulk #3, and Civil War #2, the variants will give the perfect backdrop for whatever Secret Wars shenanigans you cook up.
