Stan Lee Cameo In Avengers Dr. Pepper Commercial

Stan Lee has expanded his cameos in Marvel Comics movies to now also include commercials related to those movies. In a Dr. Pepper commercial that ties-in to the Avengers movie, a thief snatches a lady's purse. Four guys enjoying Dr. Pepper hear the commotion and rip off their shirts to reveal t-shirts with various slogans. The slogans include "I'm a genius," "I'm a leader," "I'm a powerhouse," and "I'm a warrior." The four guys chase down the purse snatcher while displaying some very Avengers-like characteristics. At the end, Stan Lee shows up to deliver his line, "Now, that's how you assemble. Sign them up." This is a smart move by Dr. Pepper, as everyone knows that the real reason that people go to see Marvel movies is because of the Stan Lee cameos. Dr. Pepper is also releasing a series of eight collectible cans featuring the main characters from The Avengers. Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Loki, and Nick Fury all have their own cans. What no Stan Lee can?

Dr. Pepper is also running an online Avengers game, which surprisingly features the Skrulls, who are reportedly not in The Avengers movie. The Avengers open in theaters in the United States on May 4, 2012.
