Stan Lee's World of Heroes, the Lee-branded YouTube channel that features original programming featuring Lee, Bonnie Burton, Mark Hamill, Adrianne Curry, America Young and more, saw a ratings surge unprecedented in its short history last week, growing by 238% and appearing on Ad Age's Top 25 YouTube channels for the first time ever, at #20. Besides Lee's 90th birthday--which prompted an avalanche of media coverage, most of which mentioned the site--the YouTube channel also likely benefitted from the viral videos of Stan Lee singing Christmas carols that circulated recently; an animated video of the comics legend singing "The Twelve Days of Christmas" appeared on the site just before the holiday.
