Beloved geek icon Simon Pegg plays Montgomery Scott, the beloved engineer aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise, in director J.J. Abrams's Star Trek films. Along with a recently-released character poster, Paramount Pictures have released a look at the character in a featurette seen below. Yesterday, Scotty and Captain Kirk were featured in a clip together...and his comic relief has been a part of just about every trailer so far. Is Pegg poised for a big installment of the franchise?
