Star Trek Into Darkness: Two New Photos Released

A pair of new photographs released by Paramount Pictures give fans another up-close look at Chris Pine as Captain James T. Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Mr. Spock and Benedict Cumberbatch as John Harrison in the upcoming J.J. Abrams-directed sequel, Star Trek Into Darkness. The wardrobe here is interesting; this all seems quite casual compared to some of what we've seen before, with Kirk and Spock in these black shirts and Harrison just kind of hanging out in his shiny, Marty McFly Jr.-inspired jacket. With the film's release just two months away now, expect the promotional campaign to get hard and heavy--Star Trek Into Darkness is due in theaters on May 17.
