Leonard Nimoy, the legendary actor who plays Mr. Spock in the Star Trek franchise, would love to appear in director J.J. Abrams's Star Wars Episode VII, he told StarTrek.com in an interview. "Oooh. Ooooh, wouldn't that be fun?" said the science fiction icon when asked whether he would reunite with his Star Trek Into Darkness director for a Star Wars role. "I would love to. I think it would work wonderfully. I think it would work just great. I think it would be a great idea, and somebody ought to tell him that." Of course, Abrams has already gone the other way and had a Star Wars character appear in Star Trek--sort of. Eagle-eyed fans can spot an R2 unit (possible R2-D2?) amid the space debris surrounding the Enterprise in 2009's Star Trek.
