No matter what galaxy you come from, there's always a need for a fast cellular data plan. Verizon released a new commercial featuring Star Wars: The Force Awakens stars Chewbacca and BB-8 facing a sticky situation due to cellular data plan throttling.

Verizon uses the Star Wars characters to show the pitfalls of data throttling, which some cell phone companies use to regulate bandwidth speed. The commercial depicts Chewbacca hiding from First Order stormtroopers as BB-8 attempts to download information from a computer. Unfortunately, BB-8 can't complete the download fast enough due to data throttling and an MSE-series droid alerts the stormtroopers, resulting in a fire fight.

So what does this commercial tell us about Star Wars: The Force Awakens? First and foremost, the First Order must be evil since their bandwidth provider uses data throttling to cap download speeds. Also, stormtroopers still can't hit a target even if it's only a few feet in front of them. Finally, it appears that the First Order stormtrooper armor is made of tougher stuff than their Empire counterparts, as one of the stormtroopers staggers back to his feet after getting shot by Chewbacca.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens debuts in theaters December 18th.
