There have been a lot of unsubstantiated rumors as to when the first trailer for Star Wars Episode VIII: The Force Awakens will debut. Earlier this week a rumor suggested the trailer would debut with The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies on December 17, 2014.

However, a later rumor suggested that Disney had bigger plans for how they would debut the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer. The rumor suggested that it would debut before The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies in some type of special event.

Now, a rumor posted twice on Reddit suggests that a ninety second trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will debut next weekend in a 100 theaters nationwide in front of every showtime for every single movie. Supposedly, Disney has also told the 100 theaters that they had to run a showing of Big Hero 6 as the earliest showtime for each day.

Of course, this would make sense from the perspective of that Big Hero 6 is a Disney movie, and many people would likely go to see the earliest movie showing just to be first to see the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, which would give a boost to Big Hero 6 over the Thanksgiving Day weekend.
