It's likely no surprise, given that more and more big blockbusters have headed to the stars...but Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be screened in space.

That way, you know, the astronauts can see it before Twitter spoils it for them.

That's according to astronaut Tim Peake, who headed to space just before the film was released...

...So, in fact, they might have already seen it. You have to wonder whether all those establishing shots of just stars hanging in space is extra disorienting if you're actually seeing that through the other window.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan & Abrams, features a cast including actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Andersen, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow. They will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters December 18, 2015, kicking off a new trilogy of Saga films as Episodes VIII and IX are already scheduled.
