Supergirl Reportedly Casting For Superman

CBS is seeking out The Man of Steel himself for their upcoming Supergirl series.

According to a recent casting call from the network, it looks like Big Blue will make an appearance on the show starring his Kryptonian cousin, Supergirl.

We are looking for BODY DOUBLE for a DC Comic Superhero –
You must be available for an interview this Thursday and if selected will work several day during March. This is for a CBS pilot. You can be SAG or Non-Union. You should be 5'11 or taller and be Square Jawed and have a ripped physique.  You must send a bodyshot, shirtless, sizes, current contact info and your first five to [email deleted] – in the subject line write SUPERMAN.

The casting call doesn't reveal how big the Superman role will be, but since the it says that the actor would work for "several days," it sounds like he'd stick around for more than a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo. On the other hand, the call seems to be more interested in each candidate's physique, than their resemblance to Superman or—you know—acting skill.

Supergirl is set to begin filming this March, with a proposed launch on CBS this fall.
