Today, DC Comics began rolling out the solicitations for their July product; along with the first rumblings of the big Green Lantern crossover event that's coming up this summer, fans have already been treated to looks at the Batman and Justice League family of titles--and a surprise from the Superman solicitations. After the release of his first issue of the series, new Superman co-writer/penciller Dan Jurgens talked to ComicBook.com about Superman's new costume and some of the things it can do. As for some of the questions left unanswered, he told us (and our readers) that we'd just have to wait and see it play out in the comics. Well, it turns out we don't have to wait long. Solicitation text for July's Superman #11 teases "the true nature of Superman's costume." Time will tell exactly what that means, but it sounds as though many of the concerns voiced by fans since the relaunch--and particularly since the white, responsive costume was introduced in Grant Morrison's Action Comics run--will have their answers this summer. While the solicitation text also says that the art isn't final, Superman #11 may be the first cover that Jurgens--the veteran artist behind such DC bestsellers as The Death of Superman and Zero Hour--has drawn since the New 52 relaunch in September. His tenure on Green Arrow featured painted covers by guest artists, and so far his Superman books have all featured covers by Aquaman penciller Ivan Reis.
