SXSW: Marvel Announces Marvel Original Video

Today at South By Southwest, Marvel Comics introduced Marvel Original Video, hosted by Blair Butler, formerly of G4. Beginning with Earth's Mightiest Show and Marvel Superheroes What The?!, the web-based video that Marvel already offers will expand to include, among other things, "reality programming," according to Marvel's Peter Phillips, SVP & GM of Digital Media Group. The content, which will be loaded to Marvel's YouTube page, will feature "the stuff that happens behind-the-scenes, the stuff that makes Marvel who it is," Phillips said. Marvel Original Video will launch later this year.
