T-Mobile Promotion Offering Free Pokemon Go Data

In their bid to win over consumers, T-Mobile is utilizing the Pokemon GO craze to its benefit.

As part of the company's T-Mobile Tuesdays initiative, the mobile carrier is offering new and existing users unlimited Pokemon GO data for an entire year. While that is enticing enough for frequent players, they're also offering a few other tangible rewards, like Free Lyft rides (up to $15) to a new PokeStop or Gym, a Free Wendy's Frosty (a snack for your trip), and 50% off relevant accessories that include portable power packs and chargers.

"This is what T-Mobile Tuesday is all about – thanking customers with hot, new, totally free gifts every week, and right now, nothing is hotter than Pokémon Go!" said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile. "With the carriers' shared data schemes, players could easily burn up the family's data bucket – and then, hello, overages! At T-Mobile, we're unleashing Pokémon Go so our customers can play free for a year. It's gonna be a fantastic T-Mobile Tuesday!"

All you have to do to take advantage of the deal is download the T-Mobile Tuesdays app (iOS and Android) and claim the offer, starting on Tuesday, July 19th and running through August 9th.
