The Avengers IMAX Trailer Makes You Believe In Heroes

Unfortunately, there's no new footage in The Avenger IMAX trailer, but it does preach a new message. Many of the previous Avengers trailers have spotlight the team fighting amongst themselves. In the first trailer, Tony Stark announced, "No offense, but I don't play well with others." To which Captain America told Stark, "Big man in a suit of armor, take that away and what are you?" In the new Avengers IMAX trailer, Captain America and Tony Stark respectively acknowledge each other as "Mr. Stark" and "Captain." In past trailers, the scene of Thor attacking Captain America has been spotlight, while the IMAX trailer focuses on Thor offering his hand to help Captain America up. The IMAX trailer also ends with the Avengers circled together, while a Nick Fury voiceover proclaims, "I still believe in heroes." The Avengers opens in theaters in the United States on May 4, 2012.
