Australian actress Essie Davis, who is best known for starring in The Babadook, has been cast in Season 6 of Game of Thrones, confirmed by Entertainment Weekly.

Over the past few days, Davis has been spotted on the set, dressed as Cersei Lannister. No, she's not replacing Lena Headey. Davis is dressed like the Queen Regent of the Seven Kingdoms because she is portraying her in a play-within-the-show. Her troupe will be putting on play called "The Bloody Hand," which tells the sordid tales of King's Landing.

Davis' role is described as being "an elegant actress with a traveling theatre company. Fun, charismatic, rum-drinking actress in the troupe."

The play willl be performed in Braavos, which means, you can expect a certain Stark girl coming into contact with them.

Game of Thrones Season 6 will air on HBO in 2016.
