At 8:30 PM, a second episode of The Big Bang Theory was first in viewers (19.52m), adults 25-54 (7.6/20) and adults 18-49 (5.8/17). The Big Bang Theory was Thursday night's #1 program in these measures.
Not only did the Big Bang Theory beat all the other shows on Thursday night, but it also set a new high for Big Bang Theory premieres. In fact, compared to last year's season premiere, The Big Bang Theory was up +11% in adults 25-54 (from 6.3/17), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 5.0/16) and added +2.64m viewers (from 15.66m +17%).
The Big Bang Theory also hit a new milestone with its best premiere day opener on CBS.com in the show's history.
