The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons To Host Saturday Night Live

NBC has announced that Saturday Night Live will return on March 1 with Jim Parsons hosting. Jim Parsons is known for his role as Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory. Parsons will be making his hosting debut. The musical guest for the episode will be Beck, making his seventh Saturday Night Live appearance. While Parsons has never hosted the show before, Sheldon Cooper has made an appearance. In a recent episode, guest host Jimmy Fallon impersonated Cooper during a sketch of a Family Feud matchup between CBS and NBC stars. Fallon nailed him pretty well, right down to the Green Lantern shirt and the "bazinga" catchphrase. The Big Bang Theory airs Thursday nights on CBS.
