The movie is estimated to have made more than $18 million domestically yesterday and has been projected to gross between $60 million and $70 million this weekend. Details are scarce, since the theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado, which killed 12 and injured 58 more last week during a midnight screening of the film, Box Office Mojo has not been reporting on daily grosses and other financial information related to The Dark Knight Rises in depth. Last week, Warner Brothers similarly did not report the film's opening-weekend grosses throughout the weekend.
