The Latest 'Spider-Man 4' Casting Rumor: Anne Hathaway

Okay, now we're getting somewhere. It appears the crazy, bad casting rumors for 'Spider-Man 4' (Eddie Murphy, anyone?) are quickly being replaced by better choices. The latest rumor: Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married, Get Smart) has been approached by the film's producers to star in the film, according to Nikke Finke's Deadline Hollywood. Finke wasn't sure which role Hathaway might be up for, but the logical assumption is Black Cat. We would have been plenty happy with the previous rumor of Rachel McAdams as The Black Cat, but if Sony Pictures wants to bring on Anne Hathaway, we're more than happy.
