Earlier today, WWE had tweeted that rumors were circulating that a huge superstar would make their return tonight for a big announcement just in time for WrestleMania.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson made a stunning return to the WWE tonight to a hefty roar from the crowd. The Rock has been rumored to be Brock Lesnar's opponent for this year's big event, but time will tell if Rock will call out the Beast Incarnate or if he has his eyes on a bigger prize.
If that is the case, this would be only the second time the two megastars have gone at each other, but at that time, Brock had only been in the company for 4 months and Rock was the established face of the company.
Fans were faked out as the Miz was in the surprise limo, but was soon interrupted by The Rock showing up in a truck. The Rock also took time to go off script and introduce the crowd to fans dressed as Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, and Undertaker, as well as The Rock.
Johnson had an emotional response stepping into his hometown arena and hyped the crowd for WrestleMania and got to interact with some of the newer generation of Superstars.
