The Stand: American Nightmares is written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa with art by Eisner Award nominated artist Mike Perkins. They were the same critically acclaimed team behind the The Stand: Captain Trips. The Stand: American Nightmares presents the aftermath of the deadliest force ever known to man. Only a few survivors were able live through the super-flu. Ninety-seven percent of the world is dead, but the three percent alive may be worse off. The survivors are being menaced by the figure known as Randall Flagg. Also on sale is first chapter called The Stand: Captain Trips Hardcover and the first issue of the next chapter, The Stand: Soul Survivors #1. The Stand: Soul Survivor #1 is also written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa with art by Mike Perkins. The cover is by Lee Bermejo, and there is a variant cover by Mike Perkins.
