The Walking Dead: Big Finale Spoilers in New Zealand Preview

Warning: Spoilers ahead for next week's season finale of AMC's The Walking Dead.

A new TV spot for next week's episode of AMC's The Walking Dead, titled "A," seemingly shows Rick Grimes in grave danger as Joe and his gang of Marauders have his small group cornered in the dark That's the least of the spoilers in the trailer, though, as it seems the long-awaited first appearance of Gareth will be a dangerous one; he's seen welcoming Rick, Michonne and Carl to Terminus, but when he drops the hand he's waving to them with, a rooftop sniper begins firing away at them. The gunman isn't particularly visible in the low-resolution video, but it doesn't seem totally impossible that Joe's gang could have strong-armed Mary (also seen talking to Rick) into helping him trap Rick, possibly with the threat of doing damage to Terminus along the way. The darkness seen in the scenes with Daryl and the marauders makes it difficult to guess just what order things go in, but there's enough external shots of Terminus (with no Daryl) to suggest that Rick and company haven't yet come across Joe's group just yet at that point. We also see Dan, one of the marauders, stumbling across Carl while he sleeps in a car (savvy comic book fans might be able to speculate where that's going), and Daryl taking a hit from Joe that suggests perhaps he tried to stand up for Rick along the way.
