The Walking Dead: Daryl & Merle Dixon Action Figures 2-Pack Revealed

McFarlane Toys has announced their fourth series of action figures based on The Walking Dead TV series from AMC. McFarlane Toys also puts out a line based on the comic book series, but the TV series line gives fans the action figures that look like the actors from the show (as well as including characters not in the comic series). The fourth series of action figures from The Walking Dead TV series will include Andrea, The Governor, Carl Grimes, Riot Gear Zombie, and Riot Gear Gas Mask Zombie. McFarlane Toys is also producing a special 2-pack as part of their fourth series. They describe the 2-pack as "highly requested," and we think it is probably destined to become their best-selling action figures ever. Yes, the Dixon brothers are getting reunited in an action figure 2-pack. Here's how McFarlane Toys describes the Daryl & Merle Dixon 2-pack: "Two badass, backwoods, rebel yelling redneck brothers thrust against an unyielding onslaught of ravenous undead. Both original Atlanta survivors, Daryl and Merle Dixon have proven time and again, blood is thicker than brain matter! Family reunions can be a bitter sweet pill to swallow, especially in a world inhabited by The Walking Dead!" The Daryl Dixon figure has 20 points of articulation and comes with a crossbow, hunting knife, fire axe, pick axe, and prison keys. The Merle Dixon figure also has 20 points of articulation and comes with prosthetic arm with bayonet, assault rifle, pistol, and knife. Now, we only hope that McFarlane Toys has a zombie Merle variant on the drawing boards for series five.
