Artist Dale Keown has just revealed a great looking comic book cover that he did for a great cause. Dale Keown has shared  a color and a black and white version of a cover of The Walking Dead #100 for the Hero Initiative. Back in September of 2012, it was revealed that Hero Initiative would be partnering with The Walking Dead for the first-ever Image Comics' "100 Project." The Hero Initiative is a charity that helps comic creators who are in medical or financial need, and the "100 Project" involves 100 artists drawing an original cover on a special anniversary issue of a comic book series. The covers are compiled into a book, and the original art is also auctioned off to support the Hero Initiative. The Walking Dead #100 was selected as an issue to take part in the "100 Project." Artists such as Charlie Adlard, Dan Brereton, Ian Churchill, Kevin Eastman, Joe Jusko, Whilce Portacio , and Dale Keown agrees to submit covers. Robert Kirkman himself is also doing a cover, even though he's more of a writer by trade. "The Walking Dead would have never become the success it's become without the trailblazers who put in the hard work to make this industry live on into the future," said Robert Kirkman. "Doing things like this for The Hero Initiative, which helps creators who have fallen on hard times, is a way for Charlie Adlard and I to give back to the community that has provided us with countless hours of entertainment and also a pretty cushy living. Simply put, it's the right thing to do."
