Having already conquered the worlds of comics, televisions and video games, The Walking Dead is now poised the shamble into the realm of pinball, or at least virtual pinball. Zen Studios is teaming up with Telltale Games and Robert Kirkman to create a new digital pinball game based on The Walking Dead.

The game will be based on Telltale's The Walking Dead: Season One videogame, featuring characters like Lee and Clementine and locations like Clem's treehouse, Everett's pharmacy, and walker-infested Savannah. Zen Studios and Telltale are working closely to bring Lee and Clementine's dramatic story to the pinball table.

"Zen Studios is a huge admirer of Telltale Games, and we truly cherish the opportunity to work with such amazing visionaries," said Mel Kirk, Vice President of Publishing at Zen Studios. "Working with Telltale's The Walking Dead is a hallmark moment as we continue our quest to create the most memorable and authentic pinball experiences."

The Walking Dead Pinball will not only borrow the characters and locales from Telltale's award-winning episodic game series, but also the choice-driven gameplay complete with new dialogue from the game's original, award-winning voice cast. Players will have to choose which of their companions to save and which to leave behind, keep morale up, find food and supplies, and navigate a heard of walkers.

"Zen knocked it out of the park with their interpretation Telltale's first season of The Walking Dead as a pinball table," said Steve Allison, SVP of Publishing at Telltale Games. "Players once again get to step into the shoes of Lee Everett and protect Clementine as all the major events of season one play a role in the first ever pinball game that features choice and consequence gameplay."

The Walking Dead Pinball will be available for consoles, PC and mobile later this summer.
