The Walking Dead Spoiler: Daryl Might Be Getting A New Weapon

On The Walking Dead, Daryl Dixon's weapon of choice is a crossbow. It's a great weapon for picking off walkers one at a time, but have you ever wondered what would happen if Daryl ran into a whole horde of walkers? Or what if walkers started moving just a little bit faster? Would Daryl stick to using his crossbow? Or would he opt for another choice of weapon? Well, Comicbook.com has pieced together some information, which seems to suggest that Daryl Dixon might be ditching his crossbow for more firepower in The Walking Dead Season 4. First, Norman Reedus teased that the zombie threat will be amped up in Season 4. Norman Reedus said, "They've introduced a way to make zombies scary again, and they're terrifying. The new threat is just unreal. I can't of course tell you what that is, but it's brilliant writing." Then, Norman Reedus explained to Comic Book Men's Kevin Smith that one of the problems with a crossbow was if there were a bunch of things to kill in front of him. Norman Reedus said, "Yeah, it's a fun weapon, and everybody looks cool holding a crossbow. It's not a M-16." Finally, actor Norman Reedus recently tweeted out a link to a video of himself doing some target shooting at a gun range with what looks to be a high-powered M-16 machine gun. Could Reedus be practicing up for an upcoming scene in Season 4 of The Walking Dead? Could it be that Daryl might need just a little bit more firepower than normal?
