Whether or not Glenn is alive or dead remains a mystery, but Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl, thinks that the shocking "Thank You," moment matches up with the show's mission.
“I was in that episode and I watched that episode and I was like how could they do that! I had the same feeling, trust me," Reedus said to WSJ. "That’s our show. That’s what we do. We rip your guts out — literally.”
No, that doesn't resolve any bit of the Glen mystery, unless of course Reedus is alluding to Glenn himself having his guts ripped out, but that doesn't seem likely.
He did promise some "mind-blowing stuff," coming in the rest of season six. "It’s really entered a mature level of storytelling this time," Reedus says. "Little tiny things mean so much later. You really have to pay attention to everything. The acting is so on point, the directing is so on point. I feel like [showrunner] Scott [Gimple] is really leading the team to the Super Bowl."
The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 PM ET on AMC.
